ABOUT US
Indonesia Reef Warrior was founded in 2016 by Kadek Fendi Wirawan and his dedicated team, with a strong commitment to the protection and restoration of underwater ecosystems. Our mission goes beyond coral reef restoration—we are also focused on empowering local communities through education and sustainable practices. By linking coral conservation with community development, we aim to create lasting, positive change for both the environment and the people of Bali.
We are proud to support the Indonesia Coral Reef Garden initiative (ICRG), an ambitious project dedicated to the rehabilitation of coral reefs in northern Bali.
INDONESIA CORAL REEF GARDEN (ICRG)
Indonesia Coral Reef Garden is an Indonesian initiative that focuses on the restoration and protection of coral reefs in the northern coastal line of Bali. The project aims to restaure 5 hectares of damaged corals by 2030.
The initiative empowers local NGOs and communities through the creation of "coral gardeners." These individuals are trained in coral restoration techniques and compensated with competitive wages, enabling them to actively contribute to the recovery of coral ecosystems while understanding the link between reef health and community well-being.
Through the initative Coral Reef Garden, sustainable change is being driven for both the environment and local livelihoods, with a focus on ensuring the future of Bali's coral reefs for generations to come.
WHAT WE DO
At Indonesia Reef Warrior, we align our efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 14 (Life Below Water), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), as we believe that collaboration, education, and sustainable practices are key to the long-term health of our oceans and communities. Through these efforts, we strive to ensure a thriving future for the marine life and communities that depend on our oceans.
